Why do four colors feel harder?

There are more possible orders and more chances for one cleared route to interfere with another. The difficulty comes from dependencies, not simply from the number of colors.

What should you map?

Write down each destination, the blocking color, and the lane it needs. Mark any lane used by more than one color as protected until its dependency is resolved.

How do you verify the order?

After each route change, confirm that at least one next move remains visible. If every option is speculative, return to the last checkpoint before adding another dependency.
