How do you read shared space?

Trace destinations before moving blocks. If two routes use the same corridor, turn, or empty cell, mark that overlap mentally. The route with fewer substitutes should use it first.

What should remain open?

Keep a staging area beside the constrained lane. It should be reachable and have a later exit; a decorative empty corner is not enough. Recheck its value after a gate or chain changes state.

How do you know the order works?

After the first route passes, the second route should still have a visible approach. If it does not, undo to the first conflict and reverse the priority.
