Why update before using a walkthrough?

Rollic says updates deliver new levels, events, features, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Those changes can alter the context around a level guide. Updating is not proof that an old video is wrong, but it is important context when the board differs.

A safe update sequence

Open the official store, search for Color Block Jam, and tap Update if available. Restart the game, read the number on the current screen, then compare the guide’s opening board and first three moves.

What if the guide still fails?

Do not keep retrying the same sequence. Open nearby level pages or submit the evidence through Wrong Level, including the first visible difference.
