Why leave a block in the way?

Some blocks are useful boundaries. The hard-level strategy page notes that a block can stop another piece in the correct lane, prevent overshooting, or preserve a turning point. Clearing it too early can remove the geometry that makes the later move possible.

How do you know a stopper is useful?

Move it mentally one step: if the neighboring block would slide past its destination or the center lane would become unusable, keep the stopper. Write down the moment it can be cleared and what space should replace it.

How should a guide show this?

A strong article should name the stopper’s job and its release checkpoint, not just say “do not clear it.” If your source lacks that state or has a different board, use Wrong Level.
