What is the basic rule?

The official rule is simple: send colored blocks to their matching colored doors, clear every block, and finish before time runs out. The hard part is that doors may be blocked or change color, while ice, chains, ropes, crates, and other obstacles limit the route.

What should you do before the first move?

1. Find every open door and record its color.
2. Mark blocks that are frozen, chained, roped, or behind a crate.
3. Identify one block that can create space without closing a future lane.
4. Check whether a countdown or moving door makes the order urgent.

If your attempt becomes different from the source, stop and use the mismatch checklist rather than forcing the next move.

How do you know the plan is working?

After each important move, ask whether the board has more open space and fewer dependencies. A good move makes the next requirement clearer. A bad move may still clear a block but remove the only stopper or lane you needed later.
