Why are checkpoints more useful than a raw list?

A raw list tells you what to tap but not whether your board still matches. Checkpoints connect a move to a visible state, so you can stop at the first divergence and avoid compounding an earlier error.

How should you follow the order?

Match the opening state, perform the next short sequence, and compare the board before continuing. Pay special attention to the position of the main blocker and the route opened by each group.

What if the order fails?

Do not improvise the remaining steps as though the board were unchanged. Record the first failed checkpoint and verify whether the level or layout differs.
